MH-XR HEAT RECOVERY – HYGIENIC TYPE DX AIR HANDLING UNIT

Hygienic air handling units used in pharmaceutical production, laboratories, operating rooms, museums, private archives, and collection areas are indispensable solutions in clean area central system applications.

The unmatched advantage of DX air handling units lies in the direct transfer of heat to the air through the DX coil with refrigerant flow, minimizing energy and heat loss. In comparing the energy efficiency of the system, it emerges as the most suitable solution in terms of energy savings during selection of insulation materials and operation due to its low initial investment and operating costs.

External Panels
– Fully detachable frame design made of st/zn or aluminum.
– Panels are made of galvanized sheet metal with a painted outer surface (RAL 9002).
– Corner material is 40 x 40.
– Unit panels are fastened externally with special screws that allow for easy disassembly.

Internal Panels
– The interior surfaces of the units are completely smooth without any welding seams or sharp edges.
– Panel interiors are either galvanized or painted (RAL 7040) (according to customer preference).

Module Connection
– Modules are easily connected to each other by securely tightening them from within the units with robust connecting parts.

Intervention Doors
● The shape of the doors is the same as the panels.
● In all models the intervention doors are fixed on hinges with clamping arms.

Fılters

Filters are equipped with a frame structure that allows for easy removal and installation through maintenance access panels on air handling units.

Filter frames are made of galvanized sheet metal (painted for hygienic devices) and are designed with spring clips for compressing the filters. The surfaces where filters will be placed are sealed with gasketed seals, and filter cassettes sit on these seals. Holes necessary for the hose connections of pressure gauges displaying the differential pressure of the filter group are appropriately drilled at the factory.

Accessories: Pressure gauge (0-500 Pa).

Coarse filter – G4 filter width : 48 mm
Precision filter – F5 – F9 bag length : 635 mm
Compact filter – F5 – F9 filter length : 292 mm
Absolute filter – H11 – H13 filter length : 292 mm

Heating Coils
– Easily accessed from the side of the cell by sliding out. Seamless copper tubing combined with aluminum fins.
– Enclosed within a frame made of galvanized sheet metal.
– Minimum distance between aluminum fins: 2.1 mm.
– Equipped with steel pipe collectors.
– Maximum pressure drop on the fluid side is selected as 25 kPa.
– Equipped with drainage and air venting arrangements.

Cooling Coils
– Easily accessed from the side of the cell by sliding out.
– Seamless copper tubing combined with aluminum fins.
– Enclosed within a frame made of galvanized sheet metal.
– Minimum distance between aluminum fins is 2.1 mm. Copper tube collectors are used.
– Collectors outside the panels are insulated.
– Aluminum fins can optionally be epoxy coated.

Cross-flow plate type Heat Recovery
– Plate type heat exchanger made of corrosion-resistant aluminum.
– Drainage tray is made of stainless steel.
– Drainage connection is 33 mm (1″) pipe.
– By-pass damper is available for frost protection or summer operation.
– Drip catcher blades are heat-resistant PPRC plastic profiles framed with stainless steel, easily removable from the cell.
– Heat recovery heat exchanger is taken out through service doors for maintenance.

Drip Tray and Drain Pan
– Drip tray blades are made of heat-resistant PPRC plastic profiles, framed with stainless steel.
– Easily removable from the cell.
– Drain pan is made of stainless steel.
– Drain connection is 33 mm (1″) stainless steel pipe.

Plug Fan
– Single inlet fans with backward curved blades.
– Rotor is directly mounted onto the motor shaft.
– All moving systems are placed on spring or rubber isolators.
– Fan can be taken out from the side.
– Connection parts for transportation are available.
– Capacity information of fans and all documents conform to TÜV-test values.

Silencers (Sound Attenuators)
– Inside the cell, vertically mounted sound attenuator baffles are present.
– Sound attenuator material consists of non-combustible DIN 4102 A2 class and moisture-resistant type, made from air conditioning boards with a density of 50 kg/m3.
– Baffle frames are made of galvanized sheet metal in standard versions. The surface of the sound attenuator material is covered with black glass wool plates to prevent wear of the sound attenuator material at air velocities up to 20 m/s.

Humidifier – Steam Type
– Includes a sealed access cover and observation glass for intervention inside the cell.
– There is a collector and drainage tray to collect and drain condensate water under the steam distributor.
– Steam generator is supplied in a package with control unit and connecting hose for installation.
